I felt like Indiana Jones, driving through the wild jungle just to get to this amazing chalet with stunning ocean views. The wooden chalet smells like a brand new forest, and the free WiFi saved me from the fear of being disconnected from society.

Oh, how I loved sleeping on two single blankets in an uncomfortable and super hard bed. Such a unique and delightful experience.

The chalets were absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was provided in the spacious area, and the stunning bathroom added to the luxury. The location was breathtaking, with stunning scenery and fruit trees in the surrounding bush. It was amazing to watch the animals come out at night. Despite being surrounded by bush, we could still hear the crashing waves, which was my favorite part. The chalets were also conveniently located near a gorgeous beach and only 20 minutes away from Whitianga and The Lost Spring. The accommodation was clean and quaint, and we couldn't stop raving about it. Josie was a pleasure to communicate with, and Andreas went above and beyond by personally transporting us to a wedding at Opito Bay. The beautiful setting and immaculate accommodation made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was off the beaten track, offering peace and relaxation. The facilities allowed us to cook our own food, and the cabin was very comfortable and clean. The hosts were friendly and gave us our own space. We enjoyed the night walk to see glow worms, and would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from it all.

Enjoyed the adventurous journey up the gravel road through the bush and rivers to reach the chalet with its stunning ocean view. Hated the inconvenience of having free WiFi in the chalet, who needs that anyway?

We attended a wedding at Opito Bay and stayed at Kuaotunu Chalets for one night. Josie was lovely to communicate with and Andreas, the owner, went above and beyond by personally transporting us to and from the wedding. The chalet was tucked away in the bush, providing a secluded and private retreat. It was immaculate, well-appointed, and had a beautiful setting. The morning sun and warmth inside in the evening were delightful. The view was brilliant, and the chalet was spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped. The glow worm walk in the evening added to the charm of the place. We would definitely recommend a stay at this wonderful wooden chalet, and it's on our list for a return visit.

Difficult to find the chalet at night due to lack of specific instructions and no cell reception. The gravel road leading to the chalets was narrow and uphill, making it challenging to drive in the dark.

I had an amazing time staying at Chalets Villa. The interior design of the house was absolutely stunning and the overall ambiance was peaceful and quiet. The hot shower and air conditioner were a great addition to make the stay even more comfortable. Despite the challenges faced with the gravel road being one-way and uphill, the breathtaking views on the driveway made it all worth it. The location of the chalet in the bush added to the tranquility of the surroundings. I had a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this hotel.
